ATM Parts European Distribution Centre Opens

ATM Parts Co Ltd, a division of Acal’s IT Parts Services group, announces the opening of it’s dedicated 30,000 square feet European Distribution Centre in Camberley, England.

 

At an investment in excess of £400K the European Distribution Centre is designed to optimise efficiency of operation and increase levels of customer service, the new facility pulls together all elements of the current ATM Parts infrastructure under one roof such as:

• Customer Service
• Warehouse / Logistics
• Engineering
• Sales
• Machine Storage

Commenting on the consolidation of premises, Shaun Froome, Managing Director of ATM Parts Co summarized;

“with the continuing demands for lower costs and improved levels of customer service this is an investment in the future that allows ATM Parts Co to not only meet, but exceed our customer expectations.”

 

The new operation will facilitate

• £3 Million worth of fast moving stock

• 250 Machines

• Dedicated Buffer Stock

• Managed Inventory Services

• Engineering Centre of Excellence

• European Hub for Logistics Services

• European Repair Centre

 

Efficient utilisation of the cubic capacity of the new facility has enabled ATM Parts Co to increase the effective space from their three legacy sites without increasing the physical footprint of the operation. The result is an increased capacity for all departments, including more than doubling the Engineering operations and improving the warehouse pallet positions by 54%.
